The Spurtar 7-pin, 7-way trailer round plug allows you to connect your trailer to the 7-way round blade connector of a tow vehicle. The integrated Interlock system securely locks the connection, ensuring a stable and secure link. This 7-pin trailer plug connects your vehicle to the trailer, providing power for the required lights, turn signals, brake power, battery hot lead, reverse lights, and ground.

The 7-Way Trailer Plug is around 2" in diameter and features an additional pin for an auxiliary 12-volt power or backup lights. It is commonly used for towing heavy-duty landscaping trailers, car trailers, equipment trailers, horse trailers, dump trailers, travel trailers, construction trailers, and larger trailers.

The male-end adapter plug is specifically designed for trailer-side connection and is compatible with RV travel trailers. It can also be easily interchanged with other 7-way RV connectors. The 7-way trailer plug can be used to connect the taillights, brake lights, reverse lights, turn signals, trailer brakes, and auxiliary power.

It is often more beneficial to check the voltage on the brake circuit pin.

One of the most common causes of trailer wiring problems is a bad ground connection. A bad ground can lead to an overall lighting failure, even when the voltmeter indicates a charge. It can also create intermittent failure, causing your lights to flicker randomly. To address this, mount the ground wire to an existing factory ground connection or directly to the vehicle's chassis using a bolt.

It's important to note that using larger gauge wire (typically 10 gauge or larger for trailer wiring harnesses and connectors) can lead to a level of resistance that may cause some functions not to work properly.
